Live, tutor-led sessions delivered remotely with the same structure, pacing, and safeguarding as in-person provision. Suited to learners who cannot consistently access a physical setting.

Provision is delivered three ways — online, at the learner's home, or at our Denham school site. Across each setting, sessions are tutor-led, planned in advance, and mapped to EHCP outcomes, engagement targets, and curriculum goals.

At home
In the family environment
Tutors visit the learner's home where the surroundings already feel safe. Used as an entry point for learners who have withdrawn from school or where travel adds significant strain.

Calm, low-arousal classrooms and the Eco Classroom & farm environment at our Denham site. Small-group and one-to-one delivery, with arts-based and curriculum routes side by side.

Creative & Engagement-Based Learning
For some learners, re-engagement begins through creativity. Music and arts-based learning support confidence, emotional expression, and engagement, delivered within a clear educational and safeguarding framework. KCL is a registered Arts Award Centre.

Curriculum & Qualification Pathways
Curriculum-aligned learning in English, maths, and other core subjects, including Functional Skills, GCSEs, or equivalent pathways. Teaching is flexible and paced to support continuity of education alongside emotional regulation and engagement.

Supported Digital & Online Learning
Where appropriate, digital learning tools are used to support access, consistency, and flexibility. All learning remains human-led, therapeutically informed, and closely monitored, with clear safeguarding and escalation processes in place.

Eco Classroom & Farm-Based Learning
A purpose-designed, calm space at the Denham site for learners who need a sensory-considered environment. Outdoor and warm greenhouse delivery side by side, fully planned, tutor-led, and outcome-mapped — not unstructured activity or free exploration.

Why the Eco Classroom works.
For learners in alternative provision, traditional classrooms can heighten anxiety or avoidance. The Eco Classroom provides reduced sensory overload, clear routines and boundaries, consistent trusted adults, and opportunities to apply learning in meaningful, real-world contexts.
