At KCL we deliver targeted tuition and alternative provision for learners who are not currently reaching expected outcomes. Through a focus on re-engagement, emotional regulation, and personalised support, learners are supported to rebuild confidence, reconnect with learning, and make meaningful progress. Where appropriate, this approach enables learners not only to re-establish attainment, but to exceed previous levels of achievement.

Staff Competence
Practice, not assumption.

Competency-Led Practice
Staff competence is demonstrated through practice, not assumption. All staff are expected to apply training within real, therapeutic learning contexts, responding appropriately to learner need, emotional regulation, and engagement.

Training, Assessment & Reflection
Role-specific training is reinforced through scenario-based questioning, explanation of decision-making, and reflective discussion — embedded in everyday practice.

Supervision & Safeguarding Oversight
Practice is monitored through regular supervision and oversight to identify patterns and ensure safeguarding awareness is consistent across the team.
KCL is a registered Arts Award Centre. Education-led, therapeutically informed pathways delivered online, in the family home, or at our Denham school site.
